Hello there!

I am Ryan Whitney.

I am here to share my photography with the world and perhaps sell a couple. I live on Capitol Hill in Seattle, WA.

On a more personal level, I am a gay man, a progressive political activist, a nerd in the academic sense of the word and a geek in the sci-fi/fantasy fan sort of way. I love to learn and I am often watching educational Youtube or listening to an audio-book while processing my photos. I was raised in an evangelical Christian home, but I am now a secular humanist and do not have a belief in God. I like the idea of social commentary and societal critique through photography, and enjoy going to events to take photos of the people and activities. I would love to have more free time to shoot and make many of my ideas become a reality.
